StarCrossed

This four-star logic puzzle has 5 noun types, 5 nouns per type, 5 links, 15 facts, but no rules. It needs 250 marks, 50 pairs, and 10 grids. The links are a little tricky in this puzzle. For example, the first clue states "One day, Starshine successfully avoided running into a painter on a ladder; this happened exactly 23 hours after he crashed into a lamppost." This means (1) the painter is one day after the lamppost, and (2) the painter is 23 hours after the lamppost.

Examining fact 2 "He missed the painter the day after he crashed into the lamppost.", and fact 7 "He missed the painter on the day after he avoided the jogger.", you can see they both have the painter as the first noun. Since the "day after" link has a one-to-one relationship, the lamppost and the jogger must share the same day (i.e., be together). Examining these two facts is essential in solving this puzzle.

This puzzle is not so difficult once you work out the links.
